Day 1 - Berlin, GERMANY

In order to start a journey, you must begin it with a loud bang! - So we did!
The morning of June 14th we started this trip off well. We all started trickling into the airport starting from 6:45am. We spent a large amount of the time at a cafe in the airport waiting for the 10am meeting. At 10am we met with Ramon checked our bags and got on our way. We had 2 flights, a 12:35 flight to Brussels and a 16:30 flight to Berlin. By the time our flight left we had enough fun to go around 3 times over, but it didn't stop there. The airport in Brussels was nice and very easy to find the necessary locations, such as restaurants our new gate, and bathrooms.
The next flight, to Berlin, left at 16:30 and arrived at 18:20. I must admit that we ended up being a "little" loud but in all a great trip. We made a friend in our journey, and joined us in the laughter the entire way.
Waiting for us outside the baggage claim was JB and Luca. Their smiling faces welcomed us into the new country. Everyone was very nice and just great. The bus ride to our beautiful hotel was short but very enjoyable, the German landscape is truly breath taking. At the hotel we got to meet all of our new family for the next 18 days. Everyone was very nice and just great. We had some free time to get settled in before dinner and our meeting.
